Wendy Martin – Harvest Moon Quilting Company
Wendy Martin has been sewing, quilting, and crafting all her life, remembering tying quilts with both her grandmothers as a child. Quilting remains her favorite craft to this day, especially the math involved in designing. A lifelong South Dakota resident, Wendy is a wife, a mother to two daughters, works as a nurse, runs a Long Arm Quilting business, and raises a large flock of sheep. In her spare time, she enjoys card making and paper crafting with her mother.
Phyllis Fay – Tucker University

Together, Phyllis and Beth utilized their teaching and shop owner experience to create turnkey curriculum for other instructors. This allows easy access to Studio 180 Design tools and techniques. The Tucker University BOM programs are extremely popular and have been crafted to allow quilters to build their piecing and design skills.
Michelle Bacarisse – The Thistle Quilt Shop
The Thistle is a family business, run by both Michelle and her mom. Michelle is in charge of the design aspect, while her mom handles all of the sewing. They both love what they do, creating fun and whimsical designs for others to use.
Susan Travis and Sarah Ottesen – Farmer’s Daughters Quilts
It all started on a beautiful farm in Iowa when Susan and Sarah were about ten years old. They were bitten by the entrepreneur bug, launching their sweet corn business with a few dozen ears of corn, a red Radio Flyer wagon, and two small signs reading “$1 per dozen! Sweet corn for sale!” Their love for quilting came from their mother, who patiently taught them to piece together their first quilt. Inspired by Sarah’s quilt shop and Susan’s design background, they began creating their own patterns together.
Crystal, Brooklynn & Daytonna Drummond – DayBrook Designs

Deb Messina – Quiltblox
Pattern designer, quilter, blogger, and online shop owner, Deb learned to sew as a pre-teen from her grandfather. He taught her how to draft patterns – starting with chair cushions and drapes. From there she moved on to clothing and then, inspired by a stack of family quilts made by her great aunt, to quilting. Many of her quilt designs are block-based: traditional with a modern twist. You can follow Quiltblox on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Threads.
Terrie Welch – Quilters Journey
Terrie learned to sew from her mother, embroider from one grandmother, and crochet from another. A lifelong crafter, she taught herself to quilt and longarm 35 and 20 years ago, respectively. Terrie owns Quilter’s Journey in Salem, Missouri, where you may encounter animals including horses, cats, or her dog, Sadie. As a Certified Instructor for Studio 180 Design, Terrie teaches classes for her local Quilt Guilds and would love to visit your area to teach. Terrie lives on a farm north of Salem with her husband, Chris and dog, Sadie.
