Glenda’s Sewing Cupboard is a unique family owned and operated quilt shop situated on the family farm located approximately 8 minutes North of St. Joseph, MO. Glenda’s Sewing Cupboard has been providing the St. Joseph and surrounding areas with professional sewing services since 1988.
Originally started in one corner of the basement of the family home, our family owned and operated company has experienced tremendous growth throughout the years. The shop is the home that she and her husband Carlin raised their three daughters in.
We may look small from the outside, but we have fabric in every room of the house including the kitchen. Glenda’s carries a variety of fabrics including Moda, Riley Blake, Northcott, and Hoffman to just name a few.
Glenda also designs her own patterns. Her specialty is patterns that represent her life including barns and her church. There are a variety of books, kits, patterns, and notions available in addition to bolt fabric and panels.
Glenda also offers long arm quilting services and quilt design. We offer our customers a variety of services and quilting supplies at one convenient location. In addition to quilting fabric, sewing notions, and a wide range of classes, we provide professional long arm quilting.
Our goal is to help stitching enthusiasts of all skill levels find fulfillment in the art of sewing and help them create a variety of heirloom quilts and personalized items that will be cherished forever.
